Our guest speaker for 2026, Luke Harris, gained national recognition as the youngest contestant on MasterChef Australia 2026 and has been part of the CRU West Team since 2024. Luke will take us behind the camera at MasterChef and share what it teaches us about reaching kids today with the gospel.

A little about Luke

Luke grew up in Geraldton, Western Australia before he moved down to Perth to join the CRU West team as an intern, after a year there he developed a real passion for working with high school aged kids and them hearing the good news of Jesus, which led him to enrol in high school teaching at university. Food has always been a passion but when he got a call late last year out of the blue asking him to apply for MasterChef, it gave him an opportunity to turn that passion into something more. After a lot of mistakes, some questionable decisions and a large amount of unexplainable luck, he managed to make it all the way to the top 6 in the MasterChef kitchen before he was eliminated. Currently he is pursuing a career in food outside of the MasterChef kitchen.
