CRU West School Camps can cater for camps of student groups from Years 3–12; with group sizes of approximately 20–120 students.

Exploring faith

During camp, students will have the chance to open the Bible and talk about the claims that Jesus makes about Himself, in a non-confronting and supportive environment. Engaging Christian Discovery sessions are tailored for each group’s age and faith background. These daily sessions focus on the central message of the Bible and seek to encourage students to explore faith, God and Christianity for themselves. These presentations involve engaging elements such as puppets, skits, songs, challenges, talks, discussion groups and activities.

Activities

With a wide variety of games, group activities and team-based challenges including archery tag, campers will be challenged, have fun, grow and learn skills on camp.

Depending on the chosen camp location, students will have access to a variety of other specific activities facilitated by local providers including, but not limited to, ropes courses, rock climbing and laser tag.

Outdoor activity camps

For schools aiming for a full, site-based Outdoor Education experience, we can design and organise a program including activities such as hiking, mountain bike riding and canoeing, as well as camping and bush craft skills, whilst staying in either dormitory accommodation or in tents.

Other tailored camp experiences can include:

  • Leadership camps

  • Study skills camps

  • Day programs
